The rivets on the coin pocket opening and the bartacks on the hip pocket that were attached to the previous model are omitted.
"FOR THE DURATION" written on the flasher means "during the war", and it states that the specification will be changed due to material control until the end of the war. In the 1940s, the U.S. government awarded the E-Pennant, which means "Excellent", to companies that produced superior munitions in recognition of their achievements.
During World War II, Buzz Ricksons was awarded the E-Pennant for flight jackets. The dream flasher has been realized.
